Congress is trying to push through legislation to reduce yours and my earned entitlements and raise the retirement age plus reduce benefits. In my case when I turned 62 and paid in the max all my life only to be told if I retired now I would get a Whopping 1500 per month and oh I can not work to supplement it. If I work it is drastically reduced. I contributed to a 401K for years only to lose it due to the stock market so how in the hell do you your wife survive with a mortgage, utilities and insurance. YOU CAN NOT!!!! Congressmen and women serve one term and for the rest of their lives receive at least $100,000.00 per year for their retirement compared to 20 or 30 thousand a year we can receive upon full retirement. They should belong to the same system that we worked so hard to keep going. Most congress members make $200,000.00 or much more every year. You do not see a middle class under $150,000.00 serving in congress THIS IS A CRIME AND DOES REPRESENT the mainstream America. If you do not have money you can not get in office or be elected to our legislative branch of government. THIS HAS TO CHANGE we need a new direction for the people and by the people of America. The Republicans took control and made the TEA Party movement theirs. What is this crap that was not the intent the party was founded for.
